History
The organisation "Vision Jeunesse Nouvelle" was founded in 2002 by Brother Gabriel Lauzon from Canada belonging to the Brothers of Christian Instruction, who has 40 years of experience in Rwanda, and Abbot Épimaque MAKUZA who was a parish priest in the fold of Gisenyi.
The Organization devote itself particularly to the service of the
youth who are not in school, especially the children being heads
of households, the kids the most helpless, indigent and
sometimes excluded like street children, Pygmy, deaf and mute and the
AIDS-orphans without of course neglecting the youth being in school
for who we care as well.
We are working in the district of Rubavu, precisely in six sectors: Giseny, Rubavu, Rugerero, Cyanzarwe, Nyayumba and Nyundo.
Mission
Fighting against youth crime in all forms, against sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and HIV / AIDS. Furthermore we are promoting positive values to the youth to become excellent citizens.

healthy dynamique youth, productive for a better future of Rwanda.
Approach
Our approach is essentially preventive. We give our youth the "healthy pursuits." The inclusion of these four dimensions allows young people to particiapte in a "movement with healthy pursuits and productive future citizens in Rwanda." To reach this goal, the founders defined four subjects:
- Non-formal education (literacy)
- Sport in several forms
- Culture
- Evangelism
In 2009 we added another component of Peace which helps us to perform all activities to promote positive values through educational films, the peace march and cross training actors for peace.
Conclusion
We have many different activities, which are ambitious. We hope to obtain donations from partners willing to collaborate with us to see the development of this corner of the country, a beautiful youth and a very well renewed momentum. Our aims are the same as for whole Rwanda.
